He was born on February 13, 1930 in Reading, a son of the late Paul G. and Mary Ann Koch.
Donald was a U.S. Air Force veteran of The Korean War.
Prior to his retirement, he had been the Owner and Operator of K & K Sanitation in Reading, the Galen Hall Golf Club in Wernersville, and the Lazy U Motor Inn in Arizona.
Donald was a member of Free & Accepted Masons Chandler Lodge 227 in Reading and was active with the Shriners.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing Blackjack at the casinos.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his sisters and brothers.
Surviving him are his wife of forty-two years: Shirley Ann (Logue) Koch; his daughter: Linda Ann Mooney and her husband Larry of Geigertown; his adopted daughters: Donna and Kelly Koch; his son: Joseph Francis Conners and his wife Christine of York; his adopted sons: Daryl and Donald Koch; his granddaughters: Angelica and husband Emmett Marianos, Starr, Skye, Heavenlee, and Oceanonia Conners, and Christina and husband Lee Fort; his grandsons: David Menkins and Justin Mooney; and, his three great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life tribute service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 04, 2019 in Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. Masonic services provided by Red Lion Free & Accepted Masons Lodge. A viewing will be held from 09:00 - 10:00 AM.
Burial will be at 01:00 PM in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
