Mary F Alexander, age 75 of the Holly Creek Community passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Idabel, OK.

She was born in Meridian, MS on February 4, 1944, the daughter of Carl and Mable Lovett Wheat.

Mary married Leonard Alexander on December 12, 1970 in Red Oak, TX and he preceded her in death earlier this year.

Mary was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting and macro met. Mary loved taking care of her yard and was an avid gardener always raising a vegetable garden. She had lived in this area since 1985 coming from Amarillo, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and brothers, Boyd Wheat, Larry Wheat, Bryant Wheat and Charley Wheat.

Mary is survived by her sisters, Marie Glover of Broken Bow, OK, Louella Thomas of Amarillo, TX, and Betty Voshalike of the Hollycreek Community, OK; brothers, Charlie Gene Melear and Herbert Wheat both of Amarillo, TX;

Nephews, Joey Wheat of Oklahoma City, OK, Charles Leavitt of Amarillo, TX, Jeremy Wheat of Broken Bow, OK and Ted Fischer of Broken Bow, OK; nieces, Denise Holland of Idabel, OK, Amy Barnes of Broken Bow, OK, Dewanda Grigsby of Broken Bow, OK, Teresa Leavitt of Amarillo, TX, Jackie Leavitt of Amarillo, TX and Jessie Ginn of Meridian, MS; many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the Hollycreek Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the funeral home.
