He is he son of the late Charles Lonzo "Lonnie" and Hillie Pearl (Maynor) Williams.
Mr. Williams was a retired coal miner, having worked for Central Appalachian, Morris Creek.
He was a member of Oak Hill Lodge No. 120 AF and AM, where he served as tiler, Sewell Chapter No. 24 RAM; Mount Hope Commandery No. 22 KT; and Beni Kedem Temple AAONMS, Charleston, West Vrginia.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Wilbert Williams.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Dorothy May [McMillion] Williams; two sons; and three daughters; three brothers; 11 grand-children; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2000 at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, West Virginia with the Rev. Paul Bricker officiating. Burial in High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill, with Masonic graveside rites conducted by Oak Hill Chapter No. 120 AF and AM.
