Napoleon Bonaparte "Poly" Braswell was born April 1, 1910 at Marquand, Missouri, the son of William and Etta (McDaniel) Braswell and died August 15, 2010 at his daughter's home in Leadwood, Missouri at the age of 100.

Mr. Braswell was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Margaret Anna (Starkey) Braswell whom he married on April 7, 1930 at Marquand, Missouri. She preceded him on September 6, 2001; Two sons Marion Braswell and Donald Wayne Braswell ; One daughter, Dorothy Helen Myers; Three brothers; four sisters; and Two grandchildren.

He is survived by one son, Warren Braswell of Farmington; Two daughters Wanda Gorse of Leadwood, Missouri and Barbara Braswell of Fenton, Missouri; 21 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, auctions and the St. Louis Cardinals.

Services were held August 21, 2010 at Follis and Sons Chapel with W.D. Snyder officiating. Burial was at the Whitener Cemetery in Marquand.

Pallbearers were: Warren Braswell , Jurgen Braswell , Tony Braswell , Martin Gorse, Andrew Gorse, Michael Gorse, David Gorse and Bill Richardson.
