Five Die in Plane Crash
LAS VEGAS tel '97 Five members of a Las Vegas, N.M., family have been killed in the crash of a single engine private plane.

The plane, piloted by Earl Manlove, 49, of Las Vegas, crashed Sunday while attempting a landing at the rural airstrip Manlove owned east of the city.

Manlove was killed in the crash along with his mother-in-law, Mrs. Gus Voss, 63, also of Las Vegas. Also killed were Mrs. Voss' son, Ruben, 21, his wife, Sandy, 19, and their 18 month old daughter Rhonda Sue, all of Booker, Tex.
E. E. Gardner of Las Vegas testified he was standing with the pilot's wife at the grass airstrip when he saw the plane slow down on a turn and go into a spin. He said that in his opinion the 90 gallons of fuel and five passengers the plane carried were too heavy.
