BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. -- Willie B. Reid, 87, of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., died Friday at William Beaumont Hospital at Royal Oaks, Mich.
He was born June 6, 1917, at Leola, Ark., a son of the late James K. Reid and Clara Nix Reid.
He was a retired tire builder for Uniroyal.
He was preceded in death his wife, Mary Sue House Reid; one brother, James K. Reid; and two sisters, Franchon Lane and Lucille Irvin.
Survivors include one daughter, Norma Hammond of Troy, Mich.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Leola United Methodist Church with the Rev. Terry Mann officiating. Burial will be in Leola Cemetery by Memorial Gardens Funeral Home of Sheridan, Ark.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church on Thursday.
