She was born in Louisville, Ky., on Feb. 17, 1892, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Woelfle. She attended school there and later resided in Medford, Wis. for many years. She came to Kenosha to make her home in 1947.
On July 21, 1910, in St. Joseph, Mich., she married Oliver Carroll who preceded her in death in 1947.
Survivors are two sons, Marvin Bartelsville, Okla., and Oliver, Medford, Wis.; four daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Helen) Pokorny, Franklin Park, Ill., Mrs. Vernal Asleson and Mrs. Clarence (Anna) Dunford, both of Kenosha, and Mrs. Winifred Rasmussen, Antioch, Ill.; 24 grandchildren, and 52 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Alfrieda Kautzer; a brother, Matthew, and two sisters, Anna and Mary.
