Phillip Eugene Marion Barber

Mr. Phillip Eugene Marion Barber 75 years old passed away Monday, May 9, 2005 at his home in Old Town. Mr. Barber worked 22 years for the United States Postal Service, and was a member of Scrub Creek Baptist Church. He was a United States Army Veteran.

He is survived by his daughters, Cynthia Hutchinson of O'Brien; Idella Rains of Old Town; son Steve Barber of Cross City; sisters, Thetus Poore and Mary Mikell both of Old Town; Catherine Ezell and Betty Lou Ross both of Cross City. She has 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Scrubb Creek Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at 4:00pm with Rev, Archie Knowles and Rev. Everette Hicks officiating, Burial followed at the church cemetery, A visitation was held on Tuesday, May 10,2005

Arrangements were under the care of Rick Gooding Funeral Home in Cross City, Fl. US Hwy 19 (352) 498-5400.
