Venice R. Williams Degear, 85, of Greenville, passed away at her home on Tuesday, September 17, 2019.
Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Broadus Ezell Riddle and Bernice Brown Riddle.
She was a member of Monaghan Baptist Church.
Venice is survived by her three children, Tona Rhodes (Hal), Debbie Stancil (Jay) and Billy Joe Williams; sister, Jean Mikuski; brothers, Gerald Riddle (Geneva), Allen Riddle (Darlene) and Terry Riddle (Martha); and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, William M. Williams in 1993; a son, John Keith Williams; sister, Dianne Pennington; and brother, Heyward Riddle.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 20, 2019 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 12:00 o’clock noon in the Downtown Chapel. Burial will follow in the Graceland Cemetery West. Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.
