Devoted grandmother of Tony, David, Mikey, Krystal, Julissa, Alicia, Angie, Annalise, Aimme, Victor, Elizabeth, Juliet, Paty, Alexandria, Adriana, Roberto, Antonio, Marc, Oliver, Emma, Sofia, and Evie. Ada is the founder of Librerias Girón. She was an entrepreneur and grammar schoolteacher. Ada was a businesswoman well established since 1957 within the Pilsen and Little Village community that transformed the book retail industry.

Visitation 3-9pm Tuesday, Sept. 3rd at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Meet directly at St. Agnes of Bohemia Catholic Church, 2651 S. Central Park Ave., Chicago for 10am Funeral Mass Wednesday, Sept. 4th. Interment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park.
