Mrs. Margaret Eyre, 71, of 80 N. Sugar St.. died in Chillicothe Hospital at 9:15 p.m. Friday after a three-day illness.
Born on Sept. 19, 1889, In Athens County, she was the daughter of John and Jane Pailey Bartlett, On March 15, 1911. she married Joseph C. Eyre, who died Nov. 13. 1953. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. H. L. Hincs, Riverdale Md.; son, John W. Eyre, Route 5; nine grandchildren; five great-grand children and two brothers, Ora Bartlett and Byron Bartlett. Athens, Route 4. She was predeceased by a son, Robert, a sister and a brother.
Mrs. Eyre was a member of the Bridge Street Church of Christ and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Brotherhood of Railway Train-men. Service will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Ware Funeral Home, with Mr. Ralph Stinson officiating Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after Sunday noon.
