Mrs. Onna Mae Howard Smith, of Sparta, passed away Saturday morning, September 14, 2019 at her residence just twelve days after celebrating her 100th birthday.
Mrs. Smith was born September 2, 1919 in White County, Tennessee to the late Quill and Hattie Adcock Howard. She was married to Herbert L. Smith, who precedes her in death. Onna was a proud member of Macedonia the Baptist Church. She worked in a shirt factory and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents and husband, Onna is also preceded in death by her sister Evie Howard Gribble.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00pm Sunday September 15, 2019 at Macedonia the Baptist Church with burial in Saylors Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 12-3pm at the church. Jeff Howard will officiate the service.
Daryl Leonard, Danny Price, Stephen Gribble, Roy Humphrey, Thurman Price and Rich Jensen will serve as pallbearers.
