Mark Alan Abel, 58, of Grafton, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2019, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born July 22, 1961, in Grafton, is the son of James Edward and Connie McCracken Abel.
He is also survived by his wife, Donna Bolyard Abel, they were married October 22, 1982.
Mark graduated from Grafton High School, class of 1979, he belonged to the Linn Chapel Church and worked at Dyna- Tech Adhesives. He loved farming, hunting, his family and his grandchildren were the highlight of his life.
He is survived by two daughters, April Ross and husband, Jay and Samantha Summers and husband, Joe; three grandchildren, Reagan Summers, Caroline Summers and Shelby Ross and three brothers, Rich Abel and wife, Jane , Grafton, Charlie Abel and wife, Tammy and Ron Abel and wife Melissa.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Kathy Abel and one brother, James Abel.
Friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. Grafton, on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00PM and on Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour at 11:00 AM with Pastor Duane Keener officiating. Interment will follow at the Lawler Cemetery.
