Woodrow Joseph Whitmore, 92, a longtime resident of Baton Rouge, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009. Before he retired, he co-owned Whitmore's Auto Sales with his twin brother, Wilson. Survivors include his five grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Mazie Whitmore; daughter, Jo Anna Brewer; parents, five brothers and sister. Visitation at Greeenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on Friday from noon until service at 2 pm. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
