home. She was a Wells County native.
Surviving are her husband, Lilbern; a son, Jamie of Fort
Wayne; daughters Beth Dimond of Wells County and Janie
Abner of Markle; brothers, Jed and Tom Burnau, both of
Huntington; a sister, Katheran Bucher of Huntington; and four
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters and
one brother.
Graveside services were 2 p.m. today at Horeb Cemetery.

Martha Sue Abner, 59
Graveside services were at 2 p.m. today at Horeb Cemetery for Martha Sue Abner, 59, who died at 2 a.m. Saturday at her rural Markle residence.
Mrs. Abner worked for E-Systems Memcor for 33 years, retiring in 1997.
She was born in Wells County July 3, 1940, a daughter of Lloyd and Jane Schooley Burnau. Her marriage on Sept,. 28, 1958 in Huntington was to Lilbern Abner, who survives.
Others surviving are a son, Jamie Abner of Fort Wayne; two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Beth) Dimond of Wells County and Janie Abner of Markle; two brothers, Jed Burnau and Tom Burnau, both of Huntington; a sister, Katheran Bucher of Huntington; and four grandchildren. Two sisters and a brother are deceased.
Rev. Gene Personett officiated at the service today.
No memorials are requested.
