Beloved daughter of the late Hugh M. and Adeline (nee Moersch) Madden; beloved wife of the late Edward F. “Eddie” Brune; dear mother and mother-in-law of John (Dagmar) Brune; dear grandmother of Renate (Mark) Bedell and the late Richard Ott; dear great-grandmother of Nicole and Courtney Bedell; dear sister of Marie Siciliano, Irene Alexander and the late Robert E., Hugh M. and Jack M. Madden; our dear aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Adeline married Eddie on November 5, 1942 and while he was in Europe in the Air Force during WWII, she furthered her education and was employed at McDonnell-Douglas Air Craft, she then went on to be a savings and loan manager and retired on September 16, 1975, after retirement she went on to be a Real Estate Agent.

The loves of her life were her beloved husband Eddie, son John and daughter-in-law Dagmar. She enjoyed skating, dancing and had a hobby of writing poetry.

Adeline loved all children and animals and did all she could to protect them.

Services: Visitation at Ortmann’s, 9222 Lackland Rd., Overland, Tuesday, September 17 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. We will meet at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 18, 9:45 a.m. to go in procession to Calvary Cemetery for a 10:30 a.m. graveside service. Donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Humane Society instead of flowers.
