Carla Jean Alderson, 71, of Oneonta, Alabama passed away on October 23, 2017. Mrs. Alderson was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church and loved being a caregiver to the elderly.
She is preceded in death by husbands, Charles Merel Ashworth and Elbert Colombus Alderson and parents, Donald and Mary Lela Bankston McClung.
Survivors include three sons, grandchildren, great grandchildren, three brothers, two sisters.
Funeral services were October 25, 2017 at 11AM from Valley Grove at Cumberland Presbyterian Church with burial following at Cove Cemetery in Walnut Grove.
