The son of William J. and Ellen Fryer and widower of Sadie Kennedy, Arthur resided on Gardiner Lane and had worked as a hotel clerk and as an office worker for the Louisville & Nashville Railroad Company. He died at Jewish Hospital after suffering a heart attack, and was interred at Calvary on 7 March 1962.
