Don served his country for ten years in the United States Navy and ten years in the United States Air Force. Don was Honorably discharged in 1982 as a Master Sergeant. He enjoyed fishing, reading, and doing lawn work. He loved spending time with friends and family.
Don is preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Rita McDonald.
He leaves behind his spouse, Sally, of the home; daughters, Carrie Houtchens and husband Jeff, Genevieve Henderson and husband William, Denise Yust and husband Jon, and Angel Eropkin and husband Nicholas; one son, Donald McKenzie, Jr.
Funeral services: Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Burial is in the Altus City Cemetery with military honors.
Services have been entrusted to Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
