Connie Jo Adams 43, of Fairmont passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at her home following a long illness.

She was born in Clarksburg on March 12, 1976 a daughter of the late James Melvin and Ethel (Jones) Flowers.

Connie was a homemaker and an accomplished artist. She was a member of the Oakwood Road Church of Christ.

Survivors include her devoted sisters, Dewan Dunbar of Sutton and Thelma Edgell of Folsom; her uncle Jim Gaskill of Ohio, aunt Charlotte Synder of Willard; aunt Patty Jones of Ohio; aunt Carol Thompson of Lumberport.

Several nieces and nephews, Clarissa Thomas and James Marshall Flowers, Jr., Jeremy Dunbar, Ashley Stout, Cody Dunbar, Matthew Dunbar, Stephanie Dunbar, Cory Dunbar, Misty Audia, Katherine Edgell, Nicholas Edgell. And several great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by a son, Nathan Ryan Clausen, and brothers, James Melvin Flowers, Jr. and James Marshall Flowers and a nephew Billy Dunbar Jr.

In keeping with the wishes of the deceased, her body has been cremated. Friends and family will be received at the Oakwood Road Church of Christ in Fairmont on Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 5pm to 6pm. A Memorial Service will follow at 6pm at the Church on Thursday, September 12, 2019 with Evangelist Brent Gallagher, Officiating.
