Virginia Marie Conyers (nee Fesler), age 91 of St. Louis, Missouri passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 29, 2019. She was born on Wednesday, March 28, 1928 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of the late Bert Burnett Fesler and Emma Leota Fesler (nee Moody).

Virginia is survived by one son; Robert Conyers (wife, Rennie); nine grandchildren, Robin, Joshua, Jared, Chris, Neil, Paul, Scott, Rob and Brian; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and their families, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Evans Conyers; parents; and two sons, James Michael Conyers and Jerry Neil Conyers.

Virginia was a retired Elementary School Teacher from Sherman Elementary School in the St. Louis Public School system. She enjoyed singing, especially with the Cosmopolitan Singers in St. Louis and with her late husband Chuck each summer in Nauvoo, IL at the City of Joseph Pageant. In addition, she was passionate about playing the piano, her church's family history center, and reading.

A funeral service was held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4511 Butler Hill Road, St. Louis, Missouri on Monday, September 9. Burial followed at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Road, St. Louis, Missouri.
