A proper petition having been filed, asking that $100 be appropriated to Mrs. A. M. Baily to enable her to leave here and join her friends, Commissioner Baily stated that while the petitioner has no legal claim on him whatever, he would individually give her that sum for said purpose, and the petition was thereupon rejected, no appropriation being made by the county.
