Funeral services for Mrs. Wilma Lee Carlisle Martin, age 65, of Fayetteville conducted at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Cleo Moon and Bro. Willard Medley officiating. Burial in Flintville Cemetery beside her husband Leonard Martin. Mrs. Martin passed away Monday evening in Huntsville Hospital.
She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late Sarah Lee Woods Carlisle Brewer and Home B. Carlisle. She was retired from Genesco and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include sister Shirley (Willard) Medley of Fayetteville, brothers Ronnie (Patricia) Carlisle of Fayetteville, Dwight Carlisle of Flintville, Randy (Kim) Carlisle of Fayetteville, Dean (Greta) Carlisle of Meridianville, AL, step-brothers Bill (Margaret) Brewer of Fayetteville, Robert (Mary Ann) Brewer of Fayetteville, step-daughter Sandra (Larry) Baty, Step-son Jack (Denise) Martin, Step-grandchildren Nicole, Moseley, Iris and Joey Martin, several nieces and nephews and beloved pet Precious.
She was preceded in death by brothers Jerry and Tommy Carlisle and step-grandson Daniel Martin.
