Mr. James Leonard Frye, 87, of Yatesville, died Friday, September 6th, 2019 at Navicent Health, Macon Medical Center.
Funeral services for Mr. Frye will be held on Tuesday, September 10th, 2019 at 11:00 at the Yatesville Baptist Church with Rev. John Wesley Long officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery. The family of Mr. Frye will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
Mr. Frye was born in Ligonier, PA, on April 24, 1932, a son of the late Russell Thomas and Emma Kathryn Hoffer Frye. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was a retired crane operator for Rent-A-Crane. He had made his home in Yatesville since 2002.
Mr. Frye was a member of the Yatesville Baptist Church.
Mr. Frye is survived by his wife, Louise S. Frye; three sons, Douglas (Sherry) Frye of Salisbury, MD, Russell (Carolyn) Frye of Loganville and Kevin Frye of Butler; seven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Yatesville Baptist Church, 59 College Street, Yatesville, GA 31097.
