Allen Walter Poarch, age 45, of Leah Drive, Hudson, passed away September 4, 2019 at his residence. He was born January 29, 1974 in Burke County to the late Walter Emmett Poarch and Mildred Telitha Bryant Taylor. Mr. Poarch was a computer assembler for XPO Logistics and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include one brother, Darrell Dean Poarch; two sisters, Theresa A. Poarch and Laura B. Land; two nephews, Christopher Andrews and Jamie Spears; one niece, Taylor Fortenberry; and close family friend, Billy Wagoner. Memorial service was held September 9, 2019 at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Bill Bryant. Inurment followed the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens of Lenoir. Greer-McElveen Funeral Home and Crematory was in charge of arrangements.
