Was Daughter of Colonel Tom G. Sneed, Well-Known Austin Lawyer
Austin, Texas, April 20. Stricken with an attack of acute Bright's disease shortly after she had partaken of luncheon yesterday, Mrs. Ellen G. Byrne, 53 years old, wife of E.J. Byrne, died suddenly at her home at midnight last night.
She was the daughter of Colonel Tom G. Sneed, one of the best known lawyers in Austin. She was born in this city and spent practically all of her life here. Surviving are the husband and two children, Thomas Sneed Byrne of Dallas and Mrs. Watt Reynolds of Fort Worth.
