Gimbel, Wally passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Southampton Hospital on Tuesday August 27, 2019. Walter Stuart Gimbel of Southampton and formerly of Ellengowan and Freeport, in his 89th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Dorothy Gimbel (nee Sherk) for almost 63 years. Proud and loving dad to his sons, John and his partner Diane Glebe, and James and his wife Leona De Jonge-Gimbel. Wally will be remembered by his sister Helen Weber. Predeceased by his parents Harold & Luida (nee Shantz) and his stepmother Annie (nee Brubacher), and by his brother-in-law Lawrence. Interment at Douglas Hill Cemetery.
