Robert Addlesberger, 73, a retired U S Air Force Master Sergeant, of 13 Oak St., Mont Alto, died at 5.35 p m.
Thursday, Feb 15, 1996, in Waynesboro Hospital. He had been in failing health for the past year and was critically ill for the past week.
Born Feb. 14, 1923, in Mont Alto, he was the son of the late Robert G. and Velma M (Creager) Addlesberger. He lived his early life in Mont Alto.
Mr. Addlesberger received his GED while serving in the military He served in the United States Air Force for 20 years, serving during World War II, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Conflict. He retired on April 1, 1964. Following his retirement he worked for Hawaii Airlines and then did civil service work in

He and his wife, Eva (Hong) Addlesberger, were married Jan. 6, 1951. They moved back to Mont Alto and into the present residence in 1975.
Mr. Addlesberger was a member of the South Mountain Fish and Game Association and the National AARP.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Roger Addlesberger of Chambersburg.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Addlesberger, on Jan. 20, 1924, and one brother, Paul Addlesberger, who died March 14, 1971.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Mount Zion Cemetery near Mont Alto, with Pastor R. Bruce Woolever officiating. There will be no public viewing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mont Alto Fire Co, P.O. Box 310, Mont Alto, Pa. 17237.
