She was born Aug. 19, 1893, in Cass County, to Harvey D. and Katie Ervin Lybrook. She was a cook for the U.S. government, working in various Indian reservations in the West. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a sister, Nora Wilson, Rt. 2, Galveston, and several nieces and nephews. One brother preceded her in death.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Murray Funeral Home, Galveston Chapel, with the Rev. Ken Marsh officiating. Burial will be in Miller's Cemetery, Cass County. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
