Born July 10th, 1946 in Red Bluff, Calif., to James Archibald Reeder and Delcia Maxine Drake. She attended school for a few years in the Eureka area.
Darla worked for twenty-five years at the Petro fuel island in Corning, where she made many life long friends, and before that in retail as a cashier.
Darla loved spending time with her nieces and nephews, and her two great-grandchildren. She always looked forward to flying back East and spending time with them.
Darla is survived by her friend and ex-husband James Franklin Scribner (Rosanne Murray); sons Dennis James Scribner, Jonathan Lee Scribner (Kelly); grandkids Amanda Irene Mitchell (Dennis), Kyle William Hopper, Trevor James Scribner, Meghan Nicole Scribner and Connor Gordon Scribner; great-grandkids Dylan Carter Mitchell, and Luke Alexander Mitchell; and her siblings Dale Reeder (Susan), James Tillen, Lonita (Larry) Wagner.
A Celebration of Her Life was held Saturday, August 24th at the Los Molinos Veterans Hall. Her ashes were scattered near her favorite Childs Meadows.
