He was a member of Baptist faith. He was predeceased in death by his parents, Mr. Jessie Austin, Sr. and Mrs. Mattie Barrett Austin, two sisters, Clara Bell Tibbs and Esther Kate Newkirk, four brothers, Jessie Jr., Floyd, William Fred, and Travis Austin.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Willis Funeral Home with Dr. Nicky P. Starling officiating.
Interment, Hopewell Cemetery.
