Anna Irene Wood, 83, of Greencastle, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2019 at Mill Pond Health Campus.
Anna was born in Putnam County on Dec. 2, 1935, the daughter of Maurice and Lena (Miller) Bryan.
She was a graduate of Fillmore High School. She went on to attend Indiana Business College.
Mrs. Wood was a member of New Life Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Eric F. Wood of Speedway; two brothers, Clark Bryan and wife Bonnie of Morton and Sid Bryan and wife Mary of Clayton; a sister, Martha Lou Priest and husband Doyne of Greencastle; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Norman Roy Wood; brother Jim Bryan; and sister-in-law Kaye Bryan.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019 at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Callem officiating.
Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday.
