She worked for Black Bear Wood Products in Northfield until they closed in 2017.

Survived by her husband; many nieces and nephews; and many, many friends. Calling hours will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019, at the Guare & Sons Funeral Home.

Predeceased by her son Corey Newcity in 1996
