Charles W. Clark, Photographer, Accessory Dealter
Charles W. Clark, 60, a former photographer and pilot who operated a storm window business at his home along Airport Road, Allentown R. 4, died Monday in Allentown Hospital.
He was the husband of Elaine M. (Kilroy) Clark. He lived in Bayonne, Jersey City and Cranford, N.J., before settling in Allentown in 1946, where he operated the Charles Photography Studio until 1961.
Born in Ashley (Luzerne County), he was a son of the late Charles and Etta (Nagle) Worman. After his parents divorced*, he was adopted by the late Gerald E. and Nellie (Worman) Clark [Memorial IDs 201884461 and 201884462]. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Catasauqua.
Surviving with his widow are a son, Charles F. of Aliquippa; two daughters, Carol, wife of Brooke R. Hartman Jr. of Allentown, and Yvonne, wife of Air Force SM. Sgt. Lawrence Schellhammer of Hampton, Va., and seven grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown. Calling hours will be 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
