Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at First Free Will Baptist Church in Bowie, with Pastor Chuck Lysaker officiating.
Burial will follow at Vashti Cemetery in Vashti, TX.
Family will receive friends fro 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie.
Ione was born near Vashti, on August 19, 1920 to George and Lottie (Dorman) Lovelady. She married Alby Loyd Hudson in 1935 in Waurika, OK. Ione was a homemaker and took joy in raising her 5 children, as well as accepting all the duties of being preacher's wife. In her free time she enjoyed quilting.
She is preceded in death by her husband Alby Hudson, children Loyd Wayne Hudson and Wanda Colene, her parents George and Lottie Lovelady, and 7 siblings.
Ione is survived by her children Charles Hudson of Bowie, Rick Hudson and wife Melanie of Lamar, OK, and Jesse Frank Hudson of Springfield, MO; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and even great-great-grandchildren; and her sister Dorothy Baker of Wichita Falls.
