Moe worked for GTE Data Services for over 33 years and retired in 1999. For many years he drove floats in various parades throughout North Carolina.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, two sons, one of Chicago, and one of Durham. Moe was proceeded in death by his brother, Bryant Addison. (Names removed at the request of a "friend" Tarheel65, Find A Grave ID 47338185 contributor.)
He was a devoted member of Gorman Baptist Church for his entire life where he served as an usher.
One of Moe’s passions was the Redwood Volunteer Fire Department. He was a founding member and served on the Board of Directors. Also, he served on the Board of Directors for the Verizon Credit Union.
Burial in the Addison Family Cemetery located at 814 Junction Road in Durham.
