John and Mary Elizabeth Wakefield Allison came to Wilson County, near Stockdale, after 1870. They arrived from Dade County, Georgia with their daughter Sarah Caldonia Allison.
Sarah later married French Whitecotton. John and Mary also had a son, George Sutton Allison.
