Donald Eugene Gill was born Donald Eugene Pelton to Carroll Beaman and Cora Mae (Cornwell) Pelton. He adopted the last name of Gill from his stepfather Henry C. Gill. He married 23 Feb 1946 to Frankie Marie Gustafson.

Don Eugene Gill, 46, of 4132 Middlebrook, salesman with Machinery Sales and Supply Company of Dallas, died Sunday in a hospital.

He was born in Illinois and had lived here for 15 years. Gill was a member of St. Alice Catholic Church.

Surviving are his wife; a son, Drew Gill of Fort Worth; four daughters, Susan Gill of Fort Worth, Mrs. Carl Henderson of Alton, Ill., and Mrs. Don Schexneider and Mrs. Harold Harris of Lake Charles, La.; a sister, Mrs. Escoe of Dallas; grandmother, Mrs. Rena Cornwell of Garrett. Ill., and six grandchildren.

Rosary will be recited at 8 p. m. Monday in the Drawing Room of Harveson & Cole. Requiem mass will be celebrated at 10 a. m. Tuesday in St. Alice Catholic Church with burial in Mount Olivet.
