NELSON, Neb., Dec. 17. - (Special.) - The marriage of Miss Edith Kennedy to G.F. Greenwood took place yesterday morning at the residence of the bride's parents in this city, Rev. W.M. Porter, pastor of the First Presbyterian church (sic), officiating. The bride is the daughter of one of Nelson's leading families and the groom is in the employ of the B. & M. at Wymore. They will be at home in that city after December 24.

The Committal service for George Frederick Greenwood, 71, who died in Chicago August 13th, was conducted at the Nelson cemetery (sic) Wednesday morning by Rev. E.B. Stewart of the Methodist church. The bereaved wife Mrs. Edith (Kennedy) Greenwood, a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Jones of Park Ridge, Ill., and the brother of the deceased, Allen Greenwood and wife of Lincoln, were present for the impressive ceremony. The widow and daughter are leaving Saturday to return home. Andrew Henry taking them to Hastings for their train. The deep sympathy of friends of these neighbors of years gone by accompany them, and may God bless and comfort them.
