Terry Abernathy, 61, of Sterling passed away Friday, October 9, 2015 in Sterling. Private family services were held.
Terry was born on February 20, 1954 in Sterling to Ardell and Dorothy (Tlustos) Abernathy. He graduated from Sterling High School, and worked for Napa Auto Parts and owned the Crystal Rose Saloon. He married Shelly Abernathy in 1997. He enjoyed barbequing, riding his Harley Davidson, DJing dances, and owning the Crystal Rose Saloon.
He is survived by his wife Shelly; daughter Brynn Abernathy of Sterling; brothers Bill of Estes Park and Shawn of Merino; aunt Dorcus Tlustos of Crawford, NE; niece Katie Abernathy of Merino; nephew Drake Abernathy of Estes Park; uncle Rupert Tlustos of Crawford.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ardell and Dorothy; brother Von Abernathy; uncle Rodman Tlustos.
