Edith Carver, age 88 of Sevierville passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her husband Luther Carver, infant son Randy Carver, infant daughter Linda Carver, grandson Keith Huskey, parents Dewey and Cora Ogle, step-mother Ethel Ogle, brothers Frank, Glenn and Jerry Ogle, sisters Vita Cotter, Hazel Ownby, Geneva Shular, Peggy Manis and Connie Gibson.

She is survived by her daughter Debbie Carver McMillan, son and daughter-in-law Allen (Helen) Carver; grandchildren Angie Ogle, Brian Carver, Tonya Hansen; great-grandchildren Jade, Tristin and Hayden Carver, Caleb and Alex Ogle, Colton Huskey, Dillon and Bryce Hansen; brother and sisters-in-law I.B. (Lucille) Ogle, Alice Ogle, Lavone Ogle; sisters and brother-in-law Fay King, Judy Ogle, Marlene (Jimmy) Styles; many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special “thank you” to Dr. Kenneth Justus, the staff of UT Hospice and Rebecca Arwood for the wonderful care they gave our mother.

The family will receive friends 3-5 PM Saturday with funeral service to follow at 5 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Rev. David Carver will officiate Family and friends will meet 2 PM Sunday at Oldham’s Creek Cemetery for graveside service and interment.
