Kathy was stabbed to death at the age of 16 by a young man who saw her and a friend, riding bicycles in a park in Kansas City in the 40's or 50's. He stabbed her repeatdly throughout her body. My adoptive mother's brother's daughter. I was born in 1953 so she would have been quite a bit older than I. It saddened me when I read about it, and have not forgotten sweet faced, pretty Kathy.
