Terry L. Morris 66 of Bainbridge went to be with the Lord 5:45 pm Tuesday, August 20, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born August 1, 1953 the son of Lloyd and Hazel (McCoy) Morris. On March 19, 1984 he married Teresa R. Payton who went to be with the Lord April 26, 2018.
He is survived by his children, Terry Lee (Tammy) Morris II of Greenfield and Melissa Morris Hanshew of Memphis, TN, Kevin Morris of Hillsboro and Jessica Morris Wright of Nebraska; step-children Sunny (TJ) Miller of Bainbridge and Michael Pinkerton of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Brandon, Ashton, Dustin, Michael, David, Beth, Alex, Paige, Thomas, Sarah, Hayley, Logan, Hannah and Clay; great grandchildren, Rylee, Gannon and Daxton; sisters, Judy (Charlie) Knisley of Bainbridge, Debbie (Craig) White of Sinking Springs and Cathy (Mike) Caster of Urbana; brothers, Bob (Dorothy) Morris of Jeffersonville, Rick (Carrie) Morris of Sinking Springs, Roger (Dee) Morris of Enid, Oklahoma, Tom (Maggie) Morris of Sabina and Jimmy (Pam) Morris of South Charleston, Ohio; several nieces, nephews, and friends. He is also survived by his loving sister-in-law, Pam (Jay) Fabin who lovingly cared for him in his final days.
In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter Hazel Morris and a sister, Stella Morris.
Terry owned and operated a trucking company for several years and he retired from Sabina Farmers Exchange. He was also a member of the Greenfield Church of Christ. Terry enjoyed the outdoors, trapshooting, tractors, music and people. He was a very kind and giving man, he will be dearly missed.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday, August 23, 2019 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge with Jay Fabin and Danny Dodds officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery.
