John D. Sheridan
John D. Sheridan, 80, retired farmer and a resident for the past 20 years, died Wednesday morning in a local hospital. He resided at 116 North Emporia.
Mr. Sheridan was born in Bering county, Michigan, February 4, 1868, and made the run into the Cherokee strip, homesteading on a farm near Renfro, Okla. He resided there until he came to Wichita. He was a member of the Methodist church.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Maude Johnson, Enid, Okla.; and one brother, Milton Sheridan, Loyal, Okla.
Funeral services will be held in the Broadway mortuary at 10 a. m. Thursday, with Rev. Roy D. Plott officiating. Burial will be in Wichita Park cemetery.
