January 2010 – Passage. The world has lost an amazing mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend at the passing of Geri Lynn Beck.
Born September 1, 1954, she rode on the wings of a butterfly to heaven's gate on January 23, 2010. As an avid sports fan, she was always watching sports of some sort but especially her beloved Dallas Cowboys. She enjoyed bowling and could be found on the lanes at least twice a week. She was always surrounded by family and friends and will be greatly missed.
She leaves behind Ruth Carlston, mother; Matthew Thurman, son; Brandi James, daughter; Michael Thurman, son; two sisters, Lonni and Marni; one brother, David; 10 beautiful grandchildren; and her very dear friend, Jeff. Preceded in death by Gary Carlston, step-father; and two brothers, Martin and Guy. Funeral services held Friday, January 29, 2010 at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple SLC, UT.
