Services for C.D. (Dois) Herrington will be held Friday, January 8, 2021 at 2 p.m. from Pine Grove Baptist Cemetery in House Community of Neshoba County with Rev. Rusty Walton and Rev. Lin Chesney officiating. McClain-Hays is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Herrington, 85, of Union, MS died Saturday, January 2, 2021 at his residence.

He was a native and longtime resident of House Community of Neshoba County and was a retired Commercial Freight truck driver and a mason. Mr. Herrington was a member and Deacon of Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Peggy Herrington ; daughter, Lesia (Joey) Bruno; son, Clentis (Reba) Herrington all of Union; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; brother, Leo Herrington of Decatur; numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Mr. Herrington was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Strickland; grandson, David Kyle Holley; parents, Henry and Alma Herrington; several sisters and brothers.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Gideons International or your favorite charity.
