Rev. Homer Wayne Ogle, age 70, of Sevierville, passed away, Tuesday, August 13, 2019. He was a member of Second Baptist Church. He pastored and was saved at Valley View Baptist Church in Knoxville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Levator Ogle and Blanche Henry Ogle, sister, Rachel Kessing, brothers, Russell, David, Jimmy, and Johnny Ogle.
He was survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Sue Ogle; children, Rhonda Roberts, Danny Ogle (Lori), Darrell Ogle (Tonya), Randy Ogle (Kristie); grandchildren, Josh Ogle, Jon Ogle, Randle Ogle, Danelle Ogle, Gavin Ogle, Gracie Paige Ogle, Landon Ogle; great-grandchildren, Jaxson Ogle, Brooklyn Ogle; sisters, Shirley Langston, Mary Ann Hayes, Mildred Warwick, Linda Vanover; special family member, Lisa Brewer.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Atchley Funeral Home to benefit the family.
The family will receive friends 10 AM-12 PM Saturday with a funeral service to follow at 12 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Josh Ogle and Rev. Jeremy Gresham officiating. Interment will follow in Valley Grove Cemetery.
