Joseph or " Buster" as he was better known, served his country honorably for 25 years. He began his service in the Marine Corp and finish in the Army. Buster loved music and enjoyed playing the guitar. He also enjoyed dominoes, painting, writing poetry, and reading, especially the Bible.
He is survived by his children, Anthony "Hutch" Hutcherson of Savannah, Tennessee, James Miller of Chicago, Illinois, Patrick Miller of Chicago, Illinois, Chad Boyd of Savannah, Tennessee, Phillip Boyd of Selmer, Tennessee, and Kelli Boyd of Chicago, Illinois; grandchildren, Lillian Hutcherson, Addison Hutcherson, Bella Jo Boyd, Victoria Miller, Elora Boyd, Brentley Boyd, Havock Boyd, and Alana Boyd.
Along with his parents and wife, Buster was preceded in death by his sisters, Becky Newman and Kay Molter.
