Geneda Wattenbarger Ashburn, 88, of Clarkrange, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2019, at Cumberland Ridge Assisted Living. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 10, at 3 p.m. at the Mt. Union Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Campground Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Aug. 10 from 1-3 p.m. at the church.
Mrs. Ashburn is survived by her children, James Ashburn, Brenda Wyatt and Linda Jackson; grandchildren, Josh Jackson, Andrew Ashburn, Stuart Ashburn, Jimmy Wyatt, Becca Wyatt and Donald Wyatt; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sisters, Delphia, Lois and Wanda; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Ashburn; daughter, Debra Gail Craig; grandsons, Guary Wyatt and John Ashburn; infant grandson, Charles Craig; parents, Horace and Stella Wattenbarger; brothers, Buck, James, Bob, Sam and Stanley; and sisters, Billie, Betty, Thelma and Joann.
Mundy Funeral Home South Chapel in Clarkrange was in charge of the arrangements.
