Actor. Born William Morenus in New York City, he began his career at age 11 working with Eddie Foy in vaudeville shows, which lead to performances on Broadway. Recruited by the Triangle Film organization in Hollywood, he made his big screen debut in "Never Again" (1915), followed by "Better Late Than Never" (1916). A veteran of over 40 films, his credits include "Harmony at Home" (1930), "All of Me" (1934), "The Bride Comes Home" (1935), "Say It in French" (1939) and "Miracle on Main Street" (1939). In addition to acting, he also produced and was screenwriter for a few films. He was married to actress Paula Marr from 1910, until he died at the age of 79 in Beverly Hills, California.
